The Nia Technique
Nia is a fusion fitness workout that integrates 9 different movement forms including dance, martial arts and body integration therapies like Yoga, Alexander technique & Feldenkrais.One of Nia’s catchphrases is “through movement we find health” and the aim is to creatively integrate the mindfulness and meditative techniques of the martial arts, the grace and fluidity of the dance arts and the awareness and alignment of integrative body therapies.
