groupcropShelley Mc Lean the award winning Durban based actress, singer and musical director started a singing group in 2012 for women who had music in their hearts and needed an outlet for their expression.

The group consists of a diverse bunch of women of all ages and backgrounds who come together once a week and share their passion for singing. The youngest members are in their 20’s and the oldest in their 60’s and between them they make beautiful harmonies which they go on to perform at various functions and events.

To date they have taken part in charity concerts for Cansa, “Dancers love dogs”, Umhlanga Carols, “Night of a 100 Stars” a jazz evening at UKZN and a showcase at the Umkomaas & Rhumbelow theatres.

They constantly work on new material that varies from modern and popular music to classics and old favourites.
